About me and the blog

Hello there!
My name is Shane aka Shaymurai.
As long as I can remember I’ve been an avid gamer.
Always playing classic board games with the family, and then as I got older venturing into the world of modern boardgaming and tabletop wargames.

So what can you expect on this blog?

The primary focus will be boardgame;
I have an extensive and varied boardgame collection that I’m always adding to.
You can expect to see reviews and session reports.
My session reports are often written from a “story” point of view rather than a more mechanical viewpoint.

These days I do find myself highly drawn to solo-able games, so if like me you often find yourself without an opponent you will find plenty of games of interest under the solo tag.

I will also post the odd review of video games, but these will be much more sporadic.
